We are proud to announce the last two names at Curacao North Sea Jazz 2015. On Friday, September 4th English singer Emeli Sandé will take to the Sir Duke stage. And none other than Usher will perform on Saturday, September 5th at the Sam Cooke stage. In addition, the Hot 8 Brass Band from New Orleans will be performing at the festival site as an ‘artist on the move’.

Usher Raymond IV (1978), better known as just Usher, was signed by L.A. Reid after participating in televised talent show Star Search at age 13. Part of his first album, Usher, was produced by P. Diddy. Usher has been ranked by the Recording Industry Association of America as one of the best-selling artists in American music history, having sold over 65 million albums worldwide. He has won numerous awards including 8 Grammys and was named the #1 Hot 100 artist of the 2000s decade. Billboard named him one of  the most successful artist of the 2000s decade, with his career-propelling 2004 album Confessions being ranked as the top solo album of the 2000s decade. Usher has attained nine Hot 100 #1 hits (all as a lead artist) and 18 Hot 100 Top 10 singles.

R&B singer-songwriter and soul singer Emeli Sandé broke through with her debut album Our Version Of Events which includes the hits My Kind of Love, Read All About It, Pt. III and Next to Me. The album was Number 1 on the UK Official Albums Chart for 10 weeks and was the year’s biggest-selling album. Sandé also sang at the opening and closing ceremonies of London's 2012 Olympics. A year later, she won two Brit Awards: for Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Album of the Year.
