Who doesn’t know songs like
Lessons in Love,
Something About You and
Running in the Family? They are all hits by Level 42, the band that became a veritable hit machine in the 1980s. The powerful, lightning-fast bass guitar playing of bandleader and singer Mark King became widely known. The group disbanded in 1994, but the members have been touring the world again since their comeback in 2001. King is still the heart of the band, together with keyboardist and singer Mike Lindup, who returned in 2006 after a long absence. Level 42 released their most recent album
Sirens two years ago.
