Daddy Yankee to replace Sean Paul

Sean Paul is unable to perform at the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival due to ongoing medical treatment following an injury. The Puertorican reggaeton star Daddy Yankee will perform in his place. Sean Paul sends his best wishes to the festival and is looking forward to performing for his fans again soon.

In 2004, Daddy Yankee introduced Reggaeton to the world when he released his internationally acclaimed single Gasolina. His album Barrio Fino became the top-selling Latin music album of a whole decade. Since then, Daddy Yankee has sold around 20 million albums and won numerous awards. Last year, he collaborated with Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi on the single Despacito, which grew into a worldwide hit and smashed sales records everywhere.
