CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers

The name of guitarist, composer and producer Nile Rodgers is forever connected with the worldwide disco hit Le Freak with his band CHIC. But he also wrote and produced an enormous string of hits for many artists; starting with We Are Family for Sister Sledge and ranging from David Bowie, Diana Ross, Debbie Harry and Duran Duran to Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga. He scored one of his biggest hits to date with Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams on Get Lucky and as recent as last year picked up two Grammys for his work on Beyoncé’s Renaissance album. Rodgers is still touring the world with CHIC, raising the roof at every festival he attends by playing a set full of global hits he wrote and produced. Be prepared to dance!

Leoni Torres

Leoni Torres, full name Leonardo Torres Álvarez, is an award winning Cuban singer, composer and producer. As a child he became fascinated by American R&B and Michael Jackson, and began performing in local venues at a young age. During a stint with the Maravillas de Florida orchestra, he drew the attention of David Calzado, the leader of Havana timba ensemble Charanga Habanera. Torres joined the orchestra as a singer and stayed for seven years before embarking on a solo career. His first album Bajo La Piel was released in 2007. Fusing traditional and modern Latin pop, he incorporates salsa and occasionally reggaetón into his sound. Besides winning awards for his own releases, he was also accoladed for his writing on Traidora, the 2015 hit single for Gente de Zona & Marc Anthony.
