In 2003, British soul singer Joss Stone stunned the music world with her much-talked-about debut album of covers, The Soul Sessions. The fact that she was just fifteen when she recorded it seemed incredible: Stone’s voice sounded nothing like a teenager’s but rather is reminiscent of a seasoned singer who has spent years in smoky nightclubs. Her second album, the similarly multi-platinum Mind Body & Soul, topped the UK Albums Chart and spawned the top ten hit You Had Me, Stone's most successful single on the UK Singles Chart to date. In 2011, she was part of all-star band SuperHeavy with the likes of Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart; a year later she released The Soul Sessions Vol. 2, her sixth and latest album.
