North Sea Jazz Goes Curaçao!

The North Sea Jazz Festival goes Curaçao. An agreement between The Fundashion Bon Intenshon foundation by businessman Gregory Elias, the Curaçao Tourism Board and MOJO Concerts, a Live Nation Company, made this special event possible. Last week all parties signed a three year deal which is the start for the largest musical and touristic project in the history of Curaçao.

The first edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival will take place in September 2010 , exact dates will be announced as soon as possible. During the festival famous international artists from the jazz, funk, soul, latin, salsa and R&B genre will perform on several different stages on the island.

Currently the organisation is researching possibilities and most ideal settings for the event. In the following months more details will be announced. One thing

is certain: the festival will be for everybody, tourist as well as the people of Curaçao. The festival will make an effort to establish many partnerships with local companies and suppliers.

North Sea Jazz Festival is the largest indoor jazz festival in the world and will be hosting it's 35th edition July 9,10 and 11th in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The festival hosted it's first edition abroad in Cape Town.
