The North Sea Jazz Festival is the largest indoor jazz festival in the world. On the 3th and 4th of September 2010 we will have the first edition of the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival. The first edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival took place in 1976. The festival had then six concert halls, three hundred musicians and about nine thousand visitors. In this first festival year, jazz legends as Sarah Vaughan, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie, Stan Getz, acted and also a complete overview of the Dutch jazz avant-garde.
